What

What love is there in my mind, the grace inside hard to define
Tendrils of a flame char my heart, whisps of smoke blow in the air
Stars sparkle in the sky, clouds float around like fluffy white fare

Every day is a push forward, a step toward a greater reward
Crushes of sin threaten defeat, but the fire brings greater heat
Wrenched and bloodied on the ground we’re promised a better seat

What kindness shown in riches of grace, treasures to be enjoyed beyond the race
How will it feel to look at the Father, His mighty glory flowing in streams of grace
On who’s Son is written “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS”

Every thought is meant to be noble, changing what made us stumble
Crushes of sin threaten defeat, but the fire brings greater heat
Chained to grace we’re no longer bound to repeat

What life flows through our veins, mercy they can’t simply contain
Living is defined so much differently, dead people are rising to our thrones
Faithful’s gift is true through His blood our lives are atoned

Everything’s meant for practice, living out a greater sacrifice
Crushes of sin threaten defeat, but the fire brings greater heat
Broken in passionate lust redeemed with One life to seek

What kindness is shown to us beyond ages, that would keep us even in our stages
Who can wrap their minds around love, love gave pure life out of utter death
Who formed stars molecules planets universes cells animals us in one mere breath

Every breath meant for praise, even a quiet time a voice to be raised
Crushes of sin threaten defeat, but the fire brings greater heat
Floods of peace rush over what was meant to be a stopped leak

Based off of Eph 2:1-10 and Phil 4:8-9 and Rev 19:11-16
