Diseased

It seems my world is diseased, the air around me is musty from mold
Treeds die, flowers fade, grass withers
My, how even time has grown cold

It seems my world is diseased, those around me have ceased to be bold
Swords rust, armor cracks, arrows decay
My, even their weapons they’ve sold

It seems my world is diseased, I sit here hacking from the infection
My face, my back, body crumbling
My, I’m stuck in this disaffection

It seems my world is diseased, and I lie here with nothing to do
Here helpless, independent, yes proud
My, looks like I have everything to loose

It seems my world was diseased, Something came along to be the Cure
How bold, how strong, how mighty
My, this happening can I be sure

It seems my world was diseased, how this breeze has changed
So fresh, clean, unrecognizable
My, who knew this extended so far ranged

It seems my world was diseased, then I heard love like a song
It’s change was in tempo, who knew seeds planted would grow
Once thought death has shot up into a violent throng

It seems my world was diseased, then a voice like lightning thundered
I’ve given you the cure, despicable it’s used as Satan’s lure
Remember that day what I’ve already put asunder

It seems like my world was diseased, now we’ve been given weapons to fight
A change in tempo yes, a long time came to straighten out this mess
Imperfect saints yes we charge out of darkness and into Light

It seems like my world was diseased, so now we brandish our weapons
Love, peace, humilty, mercy combined in His perfect timing
Ah yes, lining our hearts with perfect grace to stand upon

So here we are in a world once diseased, looking up into our Master’s eyes pleased
We can deny if You’ve ever left us, even after all of this You fought for us
Chariots race and we march into a perfect place once made diseased

This is another one of those where words just came and I just wrote… they are His as far as I understand. To me, it reminded me of the disciples as well as His promises of returning. Hope He uses it to encourage you.
